The Northern Regional Language Centre (NRLC), Patiala, India provides an academic environment for the systematic learning and study of Indian languages. Punjabi
ਪੰਜਾਬੀ
Punjabi is one of the major languages of the Indian subcontinent and possesses a rich literary, religious and cultural heritage. In India, Punjabi is primarily written in the Gurmukhi script and has a significant tradition of poetry, prose, folklore and modern literature.
The Punjabi language programme is designed to develop proficiency in:
